Daggett Road Bridge Over Burns Cut-Off Port of Stockton, California
John Stitt, PE was project manager on the Daggett Road Bridge Project, where he performed civil engineering design, alignment engineering right-of-way engineering and developed necessary easements over State Lands property. The project included Preliminary Engineering and Environmental clearances through PS&E development, designed and managed by John Stitt, which took three years to complete. Construction immediately started upon funding being secured by the Port of Stockton. The project included a major arterial four-lane roadway and bridge, levee reconstruction, drainage system, street lighting, CPUC crossings and State Land lease for bridge over State water way, among other technically challenging engineering.
